A 10 mg vial of TB-500 from Real Peptides costs $48.00, or $4.80 per mg, which makes it the most expensive milligram in our BPC-157 and TB-500 price set. Yet the same vendor's Wolverine Peptide Stack, which includes a 10 mg TB-500 vial plus a 10 mg BPC-157 vial, sells for $40.80. If you want TB-500 for research, how you buy it matters more than where.
This page covers what tb 500 is, what the research covers, where its regulatory status stands in 2026 and what each listing costs. TB-500 is not an FDA-approved drug and is sold for research use only.
TB-500 is a synthetic peptide fragment related to thymosin beta-4, a protein the body makes on its own. Vendors sometimes list it as "TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4)", which is shorthand: the product is the synthetic fragment, not the full natural protein.
It is sold as lyophilized powder in sealed vials. Real Peptides specifies 10 mg per vial; the Peptide God listing data we work from describe the class as a thymosin beta-4 fragment but do not state a vial size.
TB-500 is a different molecule from BPC-157. The two share a research theme, tissue repair, and that is why they are often sold together. Our BPC-157 vs TB-500 comparison sets the two side by side.
TB-500 research sits mostly in tissue-repair animal models. That is the scope of the evidence, and it is narrower than many vendor descriptions suggest.
Human data are limited. No controlled human trial has confirmed a benefit, and there is no approved human dose. Peptide God's own listing lists "human data limited" as a drawback, which we count in its favor: a seller stating the gap is more trustworthy than one hiding it.
Vendor phrases such as "longer-acting research profile" or "studied for flexibility and repair" describe the direction of animal work. They are not findings in people. Our page on what animal research suggests separates the study types in more detail.
We track three ways to get TB-500. Here is how they compare.
| Listing | Vendor | Price | TB-500 content | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4) | Real Peptides | $48.00 | 10 mg | Third-party COA per batch |
| TB-500 | Peptide God | $35.00 | Not stated | Lab-tested, 99% purity or higher; 30-day free returns |
| Wolverine Peptide Stack | Real Peptides | $40.80 | 10 mg (plus 10 mg BPC-157) | Two vials, same lot |
The Peptide God vial is the cheapest sticker price, but without a published size we cannot rank it per mg. Check the label on the product page before deciding. Peptide God ships free in the US on orders over $100; Real Peptides on orders over $250.
If your work only calls for TB-500, a single vial keeps things simple. If BPC-157 is anywhere in the plan, the bundle is cheaper than TB-500 alone at Real Peptides.
The Real Peptides single-vial listing makes this point itself, noting that TB-500 "pairs well with BPC-157 for combined research" and that it is "not BPC-157 - a separate peptide". We have seen buyers order the single by mistake, expecting the pair.
There is also the GLOW Stack at $86.40, which adds GHK-Cu to the same 10 mg of TB-500 and 10 mg of BPC-157. It only makes sense if GHK-Cu is part of the research. For the bundle comparison, see Wolverine stack formats.
TB-500 is not FDA-approved, and in September 2023 FDA placed it in Category 2 of its interim bulk-substances lists, which kept compounding pharmacies from using it while safety concerns were reviewed.
On 23 July 2026 FDA's Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee voted 8-6, with 1 abstention, to recommend adding TB-500 to the 503A bulks list. The vote is non-binding. FDA must still decide and complete rulemaking with public comment, and compounding of TB-500 was not yet permitted as of that meeting.
Thymosin beta-4 and its fragments, TB-500 included, are on the WADA Prohibited List. I tell every reader who competes in a tested sport the same thing: do not touch it. Anyone with a medical question should talk to a doctor.
Because the name covers a fragment rather than a single defined medicine, the listing details carry more weight than usual.
Every TB-500 product we compare is collected on the products page.
Discounts shown are real: the vendor’s own sale price, or how much cheaper per mg a product is than the average of the vendors on this page.
